Hi my name is Bob Boczek, married for the past 33 years to my wife Julie with a daughter and son. I am the Quality Control Manager for the Installation Team at Verde. I graduated with a B.S. in Aviation Management and an A.A.S. in Aircraft Maintenance in 1985 from SIUC. I always wanted to fly planes but my other passion happened to become a Firefighter. I retired from the Wilmette Fire Department in 2013 after 27 years of service. That was where I had the pleasure of working with our Founder Jamie. I have been with Verde since 2015.
Over the course of my career I have had multiple part time jobs due to the fact of a Firefighters schedule on 24 hours off 48 hours. From carpentry, to owning my own landscaping business, becoming a licensed Funeral Director Embalmer, to working at the local high school. I started at Verde thinking I would only be working part time. I have been full time soon after I started and LOVE every minute of it! Verde is a unique company that allows all its employees to contribute to saving energy but also reaching our goals. I also love watching sports, cooking and the outdoors!
