Job brief

The Operations Analyst is primarily responsible for bookkeeping tasks related to Accounts Payable and Accounts
Receivable. In the short-term, they will also be responsible for other operational tasks as outlined below. To
ensure success, they will need to multitask effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment without
compromising on details. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations.

● Creating bills based on item receipts in Netsuite (our ERP software)
● Drafting payments for bills in our bank portal to be approved by Controller
● Reconciling payments from our processing software with corresponding invoices in Netsuite
● Managing accounts receivables – calling and emailing clients to follow up on past due invoices
● Support billing of completed projects, which includes:
     o reporting details and invoices related to installed projects to the utility incentive programs
     o sending project closeout information and invoices to client
● Willingness to cover other operational tasks including but not limited to:
     o Scheduling support: Work with our Installation Crew Chiefs to identify installation time frames. Then
         confirm those appointments with the customers and document details in Hubspot and Google
     o Sending weekly project status updates to customers who have open installations with us
     o Coding in data from the hard copy scopes of work that installers use back into the digital format for

● Support payroll coding – making sure jobs listed for Installers to track hours towards
● Other duties as assigned


Preferred Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (preferred)
● Willingness to work from Jefferson Park office 1-2 times a week for the first three months
● Ability to build partnerships across teams
● Skilled problem solver
● Passion for energy efficiency
● Optimism / Positivity: Expects to succeed. Remains resilient in the face of difficulties.
● Experience with Netsuite



● Available to start the position by June 6, 2022 and be in Chicago at our Jefferson Park office for training
● High school diploma or GED certificate
● Knowledge of basic accounting procedures
● Strong organizational skills: ability to juggle multiple tasks and track and document minute details
● Working Conditions: This role requires the employee to work at a computer for hours at a time.



Part-Time Position
Salary range $20,000 – $32,000 annually ($20/hr with 20-30hours per work), Part Time, Hourly non-exempt
