Energy Efficiency Analyst

Job Overview:

An Energy Efficiency Analyst is responsible for helping organizations find, implement and maintain energy efficient solutions. This role will be expected to identify ‘blue-chip’ clients, form partnerships, conduct audits, complete energy savings calculations and sell solutions for energy efficiency improvements. To ensure success, they will need to multitask effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment without compromising on details.

We are currently seeking someone with previous sales experience, with preference to candidates who have experience in energy efficiency sales and/or familiarity with the ComEd Energy Efficiency Program.

⦁ Begin contributing sales to Verde

Required Qualifications

⦁ 2-5 years of experience in B2B sales

⦁ Able to get to various business locations in Illinois, outside of normal public transportation routes

⦁ Ability to develop, cultivate, and maintain a network of customers and business relationships; proven experience in signed contract execution

⦁ Experience managing sales cycles in excess of (12) months

⦁ Strong interpersonal skills

⦁ Passion and enthusiasm for environmental sustainability

Salary:    Base salary $48,360, eligible for generous commission plan based on gross margin results

Outreach Analyst

Our Outreach Analyst is responsible for meeting and nurturing new business that we can make and stand behind to save energy in the greater Chicagoland area. They are also responsible for assisting the other analysts in energy calculations, scopes of work, and report generation.
Please note – this position is an entry level position and requires a lot of cold calling through phone and email.
The position begins as a part time position with the potential to become full time with significant income potential.

Preferred Qualifications

⦁ Proven experience in reaching customers in an outbound fashion, whether sales, grassroots organizing, interviews, or other experience

Salary:

Starting pay at $15.00 for 20 hours per week with part-time benefits. Pay increases after successfully completing 3 months to $16.50 per hour. Eligible for full time employment after 6 months and full-time benefits. After meeting key competencies, at 9 months, potential for salaried role at $40,000 and bonus eligible. The next growth opportunity, after meeting key performance indicators, at the end of the first year, potential for a promotion to full Energy Efficiency Analyst and eligible for a generous/competitive commission plan in addition to a base salary and other benefits.

 
⦁ 0-3 months – $15/hour at 20 hours per week, part-time benefits


⦁ 3-6 months – $16.50/hour at 20 hours per week, part-time benefits


⦁ 6-9 months – $16.50/hour at 40 hours per week, full-time benefits


⦁ Potential 9-12 months = salaried $40k + bonus for every lead that closes, full time benefits


⦁ Potential 1 year + = salaried $48,360, eligible for commission plan, full time benefits
